INNER/BASIC STYLE REPORT
POWER CxANExP(m) - PH As discussed in the instructions you should collect and print, the above letters symbolize a particular profile type. [A] is for Analysis, [C] is for Conformance, [E] is for Extroversion and [P] is for Power. The 'x' found in between some of these letters indicates a correspondingly farther distance from the [N]orm line. Though narrow profiles with similar trait patterns might have a similar readout, the variation in intensity for a very wide profile creates a much higher level of adjective for describing the corresponding traits. These People are either persuaders or demanders, depending on circumstance. They are dynamic, competitive people with a strong degree of independence. Usually these people are reasonably likeable, respected, confident and appear poised and very self sufficient. They can be creative, inventive, innovative and non-traditional. They like to bend the rules to fit the circumstances and enjoy freedom from supervision. In fact, rules are often 'made to be broken' for these profiles, and only time and experience will eventually corral their impulsive, and sometimes self destructive behaviors. Being a 'take charge' kind of individual, they can communicate in a brusque, no nonsense way. They are big picture oriented, away from the mundane details that cause the big picture to happen. They must be pushed to maintain paperwork, as that is another form of less 'exciting' details. This mild profile handles ideas and information at a much faster than average pace. Relatively quicker thinking, good synthesizers, able to recall bits and pieces of other learned events and details and assemble them in different order for different purposes, sometimes on the fly. Functions well and verbally fluent in crisis situations. Generally feel they can do anything, accepting most challenges, even difficult ones most would shun, with ease. Usually found happiest at top or near top levels of organizations to have the freedom to function as they wish, within minimum guidelines and policies. The Decisions factor in this profile falls near the left area, more emotional, which tells us that the individual is affected by impulse and other opinions, may take things personally, and can become discouraged without adequate praise and attention from the Manager. Emotional people are feeling oriented, and may struggle with the more logical people around them, be it customers, candidates, team members or management, if any of those are highly logical. But this is not a seriously noticeable emotion oriented level... but the seeds are there. Often, these individuals in people oriented positions, such as sales, customer service and so on, enjoy an easier communication with less judgment regarding their customers and contacts, because they sometimes empathize them better. Relationship studies will show that age and maturity has a great deal to do with controlling the negative facets of an individual's profile. Many of the comments above will be stronger at the age group from late adolescence to early adulthood, and will begin to soften or fade, at least seem to, in the late twenties to early thirties. Why? Because, through empirical, or learned experiences, we discover some things bring us less pain and better results. But it does not change the underlying profile. It merely masks those things more troublesome... Some of the next few paragraphs will talk about the subjective part of assessment, in other words, information that you will have to add based on ERL (see your instructions), emotional or logical leanings and perhaps, age and maturity. Keep in mind that assessment, despite its long history, is not an exact science, but the closer you can apply these subjective additions, the closer you can come to understanding your report, and then, of course, the individual you submitted.Remember, this report is not to be understood as what the individual IS, but rather, what the responses indicate. The most reliable collection is still first person, with the proper attitude to answer the evaluation as accurately as he or she can. Anything that defeats this ideal to any degree, also interferes with the accuracy seen here. Consistency factors, listed at the head of this individual report, are more reliable for each trait when they fall correspondingly higher above 70%. Consistency is simply the score for how similar words are treated. The closer to 100%, the better the accurate interpretation from them. |
